Bred with an eye on taste and flavour in mind, our Breeders Secret Hybrid Raspberries are really something rather special that you'll not find elsewhere.
We've been working very closely with top commercial Raspberry breeders that have grown thousands of seeds in to mature fruiting plants for some time on the hunt for the next big thing in the world of one of the worlds favourite berries! With parents selected for both large fruit and masses of it, the aim of these Breeders Secret Hybrids is to produce plants with the biggest berries, highest yields and greatest taste possible that could one day be worthy of dominating the punnets you'll find on the supermarket shelves.
They've all been produced using traditional plant breeding techniques, there are no GMOs here, just fantastic berries, in fact, these master breeders have been a little too successful on their quest, having now produced so many bountiful plants, they need to find a home for them. This is where we, or should we say you, come in!
Well established, supplied at around 150-180cms tall, they'll grow rapidly once planted in your garden with the potential to produce kilo after kilo of tasty fruit each and every year. Plant several, and you'll need to ensure some spare freezer space and perhaps have a jam making session each summer as the fruiting gets in to full swing. They can of course be enjoyed fresh from the plants, on morning muesli or as part of those indulgent deserts - either way, they'll count as one of your five a day!
