Carex Irish Green

This luscious grass-like plant is the perfect addition to mixed beds and borders with clumps of bright green leaves. It is evergreen so it can add some lovely greenery to any area of your garden year-round. In the summer the foliage will be mixed in with spikes of pale green-brown flowers. It will only reach 0.5 metres tall and wide making it ideal for smaller spaces and gap filling.

This plant is very versatile in the conditions you can grow it in; it will enjoy full sun and will grow equally as well in partial shade, can be grown in any well-drained soil and will do well in a sheltered or exposed garden.
