Chilli Cayenne Red

The popular kind of chilli 'Cayenne Red', is named for its long, thin peppers that ripen to a bright red colour. This cultivar is popular among foodies due to its spicy flavour as well as its aesthetic appeal. Usually used to add flavour and spice to a variety of meals, the peppers can also be dried and processed into a powder.

Chilli 'Cayenne Red' requires well-drained soil and a sunny location for optimal growth. It needs regular watering to keep the soil damp but not soggy, and it grows best in warm climates.
