Cornus kousa 'Helena' - LARGE Specimen

This stunning specimen tree is a great addition of colour to your garden with two main seasons of interest, giving you summer flowers and lovely red autumn foliage. In June large white flowers emerge with a bright green centre, these are comprised of four ornate petals and stand out amazingly against the dark green variegated foliage. Its green leaves are edged with a creamy white making them stand out beautifully against the light brown crown. In the autumn the large leaves turn attractive shades of crimson and purple before that fall. Mature trees will produce strawberry-like fruits in the autumn after flowering. Its architectural stems and amazing flowers make it the perfect specimen tree although it is equally well suited to container and mixed border planting. 

Plant this is moist but well-drained soil and in full or partial sun. It can grow in any soil type and pH and is hardy so can grow in exposed or sheltered gardens.
