Dahlia Misses Dutch
Dahlia 'Misses Dutch' is a truly radiant standout! The spectacular star-burst blooms are defined by their long, elegant petals, which showcase a striking blend of vibrant magenta-pink transitioning into a warm, glowing yellow centre. This is surely one of the most eye-catching dahlias for adding dramatic flair to your garden beds during the summer and autumn months. Its sturdy habit and prolific flowering make it an exceptional choice for creating high-impact cut-flower arrangements that will bring bold, cheerful energy to any home display.
To plant them, dig a hole at least 20-30cm square and around 20-30cm deep for each one. Cover the base of the hole with 10cm of compost or manure and give it a good dousing with a full watering can and then plant the dahlia at a depth of 15-20cm. It will need to be lifted in winter - once the foliage dies back simply dig it up and store in a cool, frost free location.
Supplied as a bare root tuber.
