Deutzia Strawberry Fields

A new compact Deutzia. Fascinating flowers with deep crimson buds opening to white flushed pink. It is a very pretty flowering shrub, that will add late spring and early summer colour to the border with its pretty clusters of pink and white star-shaped flowers. These are sought-after by pollinating insects including bees and may have a light scent.

Will reach as high as 200cm if left unpruned, but prune hard after flowering to keep as a dwarf shrub of 100cm. Once established it is quite easy to look after and as it does not get too big, it can be grown in a large patio pot.
