Digitalis Purpurea - Foxgloves
Availability: In stock
Digitalis purpurea, or the common foxglove, is a classic cottage garden favourite, admired for its tall, elegant spires of bell-shaped flowers in shades of pinkish purple. Blooming from early to mid-summer, each flower is beautifully speckled within, coming together to create a striking vertical display, adding height and structure to borders.
Low maintenance and attractive to pollinators, it self-seeds readily, naturalising gently over time for a relaxed look. Ideal for cottage, woodland and wildlife gardens, it pairs wonderfully with aquilegia and campanula for a soft and romantic planting scheme.
Supplied in approx. 1 litre containers.
