Patio Pillar Fruit Trees 'Roulette' selection - this nursery choice is great if you love surprises and love tasty fruit! Offering outstanding value for money, you will receive a selection of varieties of nursery choice, but they'll be a complete surprise.

If you like fruit, or simply want to eat more as part of a healthy lifestyle, you need these.

A massive garden is not needed as these will thrive in patio planters and can be easily kept as compact towers with pruning. We will be selecting the your trees from the following varieties and more!

Cherry Stella / Cherry Burlat / Cherry Sunburst
Luscious Black Cherries are excellent picked straight from the tree, easy to grow and productive. The large dark red/black cherries are very juicy and sweet, with a typical cherry flavour. If your only experience of cherries is from a market stall or supermarket then we think you will be very pleasantly surprised with the flavour of fresh cherries straight from your own tree.

Fantasy Nectarine
One of the best Nectarines for the UK, 'Fantasy' is easy to grow and fully hardy. The mouth-watering crops of red fruits have juicy yellow flesh and can be harvested in summer. Early harvests have a fresh tangy flavour, while later pickings have a rich sweet taste.

Apple Jonaprince / Fuji / Braeburn / Red Delicious / Cox / Golden Delicious / Elstar
We supply two or three apple tree in this lucky dip selection, as although some apples can be self fertile, they always benefit from having a partner around! These well loved apples need no introduction, being widely available in the shops and as a healthy treat in kid's lunch boxes! Now they can grow their own. These varieties are renowned for heavy cropping with loads of juicy, crisp, mouth watering bright red fruit. Enjoy straight from the tree or store for use through to winter. Although dessert varieties, they are also great for baking pies and making apple sauce. You can even be adventurous and use the kilos of fruit you will be able to harvest for juicing and making cider too. If you find you have too many apples, remember they also freeze really well.

Williams Pear
Juicy and Sublime this is one of the nation's favourite pears. Covered with pure white flowers in mid-spring, followed by delicious, juicy, yellowish green fruits. The tree is broadly columnar in shape and is ideal for an open, sunny site. Use your pears in the fruit bowl, for tasty desserts or even have a go at making your own sparkling Perry! All in all, it is ideal for any cooking or baking use, as well as for fresh eating.

Stanley Plum
Originating from the USA where it is a popular commercial variety, this really is one of the tastiest and reliable varieties of plum that there is. The deep violet-blue skinned fruits cover orange-yellow flesh that is satisfyingly firm, very sweet and juicy. A very hardy and easy to grow tree.

These Pillar Trees will produce delicious full sized fruit in the first year after planting and grow no larger than 1.8m provided they are given an annual trim.

Keep in tubs on the patio and enjoy the delightful spring blossom that is followed by the vivid coloured fruit.

Why not plant a few trailing plants around the base to create an interesting effect.

Self-fertile varieties, vigorous and ready to grow quickly.

Supplied bare rooted at around 80cm tall, fresh from our cold stores, simply soak the roots for 24hrs after arrival then pot up or plant out in the normal way and they'll be bursting in to growth in no time.

"Bare Root Fruit Sticks"

These dormant bare-root dwarf fruit trees were in transit for some time. They were bunched together with some damp compost around the root(ball) which no doubt meant they would survive the journey, to London! They were well packed in a tall cardboard box that I tore up after taking out the fruit tree canes & recycled in the ground. I do that with all 'clean' cardboard boxes. I received SIX trees (one was not labelled but looking forward to the surprise, seeing what it is, eventually! All-in-all I was (very) pleased with my delivery. Great price (reduced to clear) but the ALL the fruit tree canes all looked viable. I placed them immediately in water for a few hours, and individually planted them out in medium-sized patio tubs. I cannot say yet if they will flourish but I am happy with what I received! I'll be back!

Over the moon!

I ordered 2 packs, one for myself and one for a friend, we both received 6 fruit trees.
They had been in cold storage for some time but all were alive. We've potted them up and some are already showing signs of new growth.
There are a couple of thick stemmed trees and the rest are quite thin, so assume they are younger. All the trees have healthy roots and plenty of them!
We are both really happy with our trees and can recommend them. For under £10 they are a bargain. I've always bought my plants from Gardening Express and found them to be a reliable company who supply good quality, good sized plants. Well packaged and never had a problem with any damage en route to my home.

Good value

I paid 9.97 for four trees, but was sent 6. The delivery took 7 days and cost 6.99. This was quicker than my previous order. The trees were well packed and showed no damage. I was delighted with them. I got a sweet cherry and a sour cherry, a gala apple and a golden delicious, a William pear and an opal plum. After an overnight soak for roots, I planted them in patio containers, and watered them. One of the plants had 4 yellow leaves but these dried up, another had a few shoots that are still there. As they are obviously dormant I will see how it goes. But I'm looking forward to seeing them grow. It's a great idea for growing compact trees on patio.
