French Bean 'Dior' is a dwarf French bean, highly valued for its buttery-yellow pods, crisp texture and dependable heavy crops. The slender, stringless beans grow to around 13-15cm in length and have a tender bite with a slightly sweet flavour that is excellent steamed, sautéed and enjoyed fresh from the garden. Their golden colour stands out beautifully in the kitchen as well as in the vegetable patch, while producing generous harvests over a long season. 'Dior' is particularly appreciated for its excellent disease resistance and reliable performance in varied summer conditions.

Thriving in moist, well-drained soil in a sunny, sheltered spot, 'Dior' is easy to grow and ideal for beds, raised planters and patio containers. As a dwarf variety, it does not usually require staking, making it simple to maintain and perfect for smaller gardens. Water regularly during dry spells, especially while flowering and podding, to encourage continuous production from midsummer into early autumn. Frequent harvesting keeps the plants productive, while removing older pods promptly helps extend the cropping season. Combining eye-catching colour with excellent flavour and easy-growing reliability, 'Dior' is a superb choice for productive kitchen gardens and decorative vegetable plots alike.

Supplied in approx. 1 litre containers.
