Azalea mollis Golden Eagle - Deciduous Rhododendron

A vigorous and easy to grow plant, this will thrive in your garden, and cover itself in deep orange, highly fragrant flowers reliably each spring. The glorious trusses of glowing, funnel shaped flowers in late spring, opening from coppery-red buds add a real splash of colour to the garden. This deciduous azalea looks stunning planted 'en masse' in a sunny shrub border with humus-rich soil. Winter flowering shrubs are good companions, providing interest after it has lost its beautiful autumn leaves. Supplied in approx 4-5 litre containers at around 40-60cms tall in bud/flower in season.
