An iconic single dahlia, Dahlia 'Bishop of Llandaff', possesses perfectly rounded blooms in a deep scarlet-red and a golden centre that attracts pollinators, bringing life and movement to the garden throughout summer and early autumn. With its upright habit and rich foliage colour, it makes a standout feature in borders,s wildlife gardens and contemporary planting schemes.
Plant the tubers in groups of 2-5 for a natural and impactful display, spacing them around 45-60cm apart and planting approximately 10–15cm deep in fertile, well-drained soil. Choose a sunny, sheltered position to promote strong growth and abundant flowering. Dahlia ‘Bishop of Llandaff’ pairs well with other summer bulbs such as gladiolus or lilies.
