Alchemilla erythropoda
Delicate and low-growing, Alchemilla erythropoda forms neat mounds of soft, grey-green foliage that is topped with lime-green flowers in the early summer. The common name 'Lady's Mantle' comes from this perennial's ability to catch and hold water droplets like a cloak, giving a magical, jewel-like effect after rain. Ideal for edging, ground cover and rock gardens.
Thriving in sun or partial shade with well-drained soil, this easy-care perennial benefits from cutting back after flowering to encourage fresh foliage and prevent self-seeding. Remove spent blooms to keep plants tidy. Perfect for cottage and informal garden styles and matches well with heuchera and small grasses. A graceful way to soften edges and link planting together effortlessly.
Supplied in approx. 1 litre containers.
