Verbascum Phoencinium Hybrids

Verbascum phoeniceum hybrids are elegant, upright perennials that bring a soft yet striking presence to the garden with their slender spires of delicate, open-faced flowers in shades of white, pink and rich purple. Flowering from late spring into summer, they create a light, airy effect while adding height and vertical interest to borders. Easy to grow and drought-tolerant once established, they require minimal care, with deadheading encouraging further blooms and a tidy appearance.

Perfect for cottage, prairie and woodland gardens, they pair beautifully with nepeta for a relaxed, naturalistic display. Plant in full sun in well-drained soil, avoid overly wet conditions and cut back after flowering to maintain shape. Extremely reliable, phoeniceum hybrids will readily self-seed, allowing them to reappear naturally year after year.
