Salvia argentea

Much loved for its superb foliage, this Southern European Sage develops huge rosettes up to 3' across. The large oval leaves are densely furred with silver hairs that produce a wonderful, wooly effect. It produces a 2'-3' dramatic candelabra in Summer, bearing inconspicuous flowers that are best removed before they set seed-this will help it to live longer. Supplied in approx 1 litre containers.
