Hamamelis vernalis Amethyst - Witch Hazel

This beautiful variety of Witch Hazel is one of the few varieties that produces violet flowers, hence the name ‘Amethyst’. It blooms in January and February, giving you gorgeous displays of fragrant flowers on the bare wood of the plant. This plant makes a great addition to your garden for some winter interest at a time when not many plants are flowering.

This plant will thrive in full sun or partial shade. It should be in any type of moist, acidic soil.
