A gorgeous deciduous shrub that adds a splash of vibrant colour to any garden is the Hibiscus 'Duc de Brabant'. From mid- to late-summer, this hardy hibiscus is a real show-stopper with its huge, double flowers in deep magenta-pink hues. The flowers are ideal for wildlife-friendly gardening since they not only enhance aesthetic appeal but also attract pollinators. Because of its upright, bushy form, mixed borders, or as a striking showpiece.
Plant in a sunny location with well-drained soil for optimal results. The shrub will remain healthy and produce an abundance of flowers with regular watering and an annual pruning in the early spring. For a lovely, well-balanced arrangement, pair with soft decorative grasses or contrasting white blossoms.
