Hosta 'Silk Road' is a magnificent perennial that brings elegance and dramatic flair to any garden space. Its bold variegated foliage with deep green margins and a creamy-yellow centre instantly lifts shaded areas. A standout feature of the Hosta family is their exceptional ability to thrive in shade while producing lush, dramatic foliage, making them among the most reliable and impactful plants for low-light gardens.
From early to mid-summer, graceful spikes of soft lavender flowers rise above the foliage, adding seasonal charm. Ideal for pairing with ferns and heuchera, it suits woodland gardens, shaded borders and containers. Low maintenance, remove old leaves and keep soil moist. Plant in partial to full shade in well-drained soil for best results.
