Hydrangea macrophylla 'Libelle'

Hydrangea macrophylla 'Libelle' is a stunning shrub with glossy, dark green leaves. In the summer this dark colour is beautifully contrasted with large, white florets surrounding pale blue flowers. This is a deciduous shrub meaning the leaves will fall for the winter, but before they do, they will turn yellow for some lovely autumn colour.

‘Libelle’ thrives in partial shade but can tolerate morning sun, especially in cooler climates. It prefers rich, moist, well-drained soil, with flower color subtly influenced by soil pH, bluer in acidic conditions, more lilac in neutral. Prune only after flowering, as it blooms on old wood.

Supplied in approx. 2-3 litre containers.
