Lemon Scented Monterey Cypress Goldcrest

This shapely evergreen is the ideal plant for some winter interest when many other plants are sleeping. Perfect for the centre of a planter over winter, where it will be quite content in such a situation for many years, it will provide evergreen interest all year round. Their impact is further enhanced in the winter month by the fact that cold weather intensifies the coloration of the foliage. These golden Cypress trees are not only very versatile, they can even be trained in to an exquisite topiary form.

In the summer, it's lemon scent will help deter mosquito's and keep gnats at bay. All in all a lovely, small and easily managed tree for the patio, or in the open garden.
