Excellent Leucanthemum The gorgeous perennial 'Real Sunbeam,' also called Shasta Daisy, is renowned for its big, cheery, double yellow blooms that bloom from early summer to autumn. These flowers are ideal for adding a pop of colour to borders, beds, or cutting gardens because of their eye-catching central cones and tall, sturdy stems. The vibrant blooms are beautifully contrasted with the glossy, dark green foliage.
Plant in rich, well-drained soil that receives full sun. Water frequently, particularly in dry spells, and mulch to keep moisture in the soil and keep weeds under control. To promote ongoing blooming, remove spent blooms by deadheading them. To keep clumps vigorous, divide them in early spring or late autumn every two to three years. Combine with purple coneflowers or blue salvias to create a striking and harmonious garden arrangement.
