Myosotis palustris - Water Forget-Me-Not

A native pond marginal plant that is free in spirit and with its flowering throughout the summer. Happy to grow away In shallow water this Myosotis will tolerate its crown being up to ten centimetres below the water level.

Its loose habit looks stunning as it grows through the water with its shiny bright green leaves and from mid to late summer it becomes covered in light blue delicate single flowers that have yellow centres which will freely seed once stablished.

It is happy in both sunshine or partial shade and can be planted in both open soil or potted into up into an aquatic basket.
