Juniperus communis ‘Green Carpet’ is a beautifully low-growing conifer valued for its dense, spreading habit and fine-textured evergreen foliage that forms a rich, carpet-like layer across the ground. Its soft, needle-like growth looks natural and effortless, making it ideal for softening hard landscaping, cascading over banks, or filling gaps between rocks. The overall effect is calm and cohesive, lending year-round structure and a sense of permanence to the garden.

This juniper thrives in a sunny, open position and prefers well-drained soil, coping comfortably with poorer, sandy or stony ground once established. It pairs particularly well with  Cistus or compact Hebe varieties, complementing its relaxed, natural character.

10-year height and spread: 15cm x 1.3m. Supplied in approx 1.5 -2.5 litre containers.
