Neillia affinis

Neillia affinis is an amazing deciduous shrub that combines attractive ornamental foliage with beautiful arching pink flowers. It is most commonly used as an architectural plant due to its angular red brown branches and flowers stems. They are perfect for providing interest to your garden all the way from spring to autumn as the bell-shaped pink flowers appear in early spring alongside lovely dark green foliage. In the autumn the leaves begin to take on red tints.

This shrub can grow in full sun or partial shade and can tolerate pretty much any soil type, it will do best in an area sheltered from cold winds in well-draining soil.
