Centaurea 'Dealbata' - Centurea Cornflower

The pretty and fluffy pink flowers of Centaurea 'Dealbata' make it a great addition to any cottage garden. They bloom profusely from early to mid-summer. This perennial creates a tidy, clump-forming plant of finely textured, green foliage in addition to its distinctive blooms. It spreads to around 30cm and grows to a height of 1m, making it an excellent choice for borders, rockeries, and pollinator gardens.

Although it can withstand little shade, Centaurea 'Dealbata' grows best in full sun and well-drained soil. It's a great option if you want to draw butterflies and bees. Combine it with other perennials, such as salvia or lavender, to make a showy, textured arrangement. Deadheading on a regular basis helps promote more blooms.
