Sedum telephium 'Purple Emperor'

This amazing new perennial sedum originated in Sussex and is claimed to be the darkest leafed form availble. Sedum 'Purple Emperor' is poised to take the gardening world by storm. The dark purple fleshy leaves clothe the compact purple stems. In summer, the 18'' wide clumps are topped with heads of pinky purple flowers. . . a nice contrast.
