Viola sororia 'Freckles'

Product ref: P15169

Availability: In stock

Viola sororia 'Freckles' is a fantastic, low-growing perennial violet recognised for its lovely pale lavender-white blooms with deep violet-blue markings. In spring, the delicate, nodding blossoms appear just above heart-shaped green leaves, giving the plant a natural, cottage-garden appearance. Its clump-forming behaviour makes it perfect for ground cover, edging walkways, and softening forest borders.

'Freckles' thrives in moist well-drained soil and moderate shade, making it simple to cultivate and adaptable to a variety of situations. If permitted, it will gently self-seed to produce natural drifts, making it ideal for informal gardens and wildlife habitats.

Combine with spring bulbs and ferns to create a delicate, layered spring display. Deadhead to extend flowering time and split clumps every few years to keep them looking fresh and lush.

Supplied in approx. 1-2 litre containers.
