Pieris japonica Little Goldy

Beautiful dense evergreen little shrub which would merit a spot in any garden. The foliage is always a main feature on all Pieris varieties and this one is no exception.

In spring its new leaf shoots are pink-white in colour which gradually change to a yellow-green variation as the spring turns to summer, giving the plant an almost yellow glow. Winter sees the foliage turn green with a white edge making this plant truly seasonal just through the nature of its leaves. As an extra, clusters of small white flowers are produced in spring and these are loved by Bees and Butterflies.

Pieris looks great in little groups of three to five in larger borders and this variety is also happy growing as a container subject.

Supplied in approx. 2-3 litre containers.
