Rubus fruIt 'Merton Thornless'- LARGE

This plant is a win-win – delicious blackberries without the thorns! This is a compact, easy to grow plant perfect for smaller gardens. It can be trained against a fence or wall meaning you can use it to soften an area of your garden that could do with some greenery. This plant will treat you to white flowers in the summer before the berries develop in late summer and early autumn. Not only does this plant give you gorgeous flowers and tasty fruit, but it also provides some lovely autumn colour with yellow and pink foliage.

Plant in moist, well-drained soil in a sunny spot. A sheltered spot is preferred for this plant as harsher winters can damage it if it is too exposed. It will do well in any soil type except for chalk.
