Rubus occidentalis Black Jewel
Availability: In stock
This thorny shrub is sure to add some character to your garden, as well as some delicious, black summer raspberries. These can be eaten fresh, used in baking or made into preserves. Before these fruits appear, this plant will give you a gorgeous display of white rose-like flowers.
A sunny spot in your garden will help this plant thrive, but it also grows well in partial shade. Plant in well-drained soil - preferably slightly acidic – in a sheltered spot. It is best to prune in the summer after fruiting as well as at the end of winter to remove anything that’s been damaged by the cold.
Supplied in approx.1-2 litre containers.
