Gloxinia Avanti is a stunning collection of large, velvety, trumpet-shaped blooms in an array of colours, including crimson, pink, purple, red and pure white. Flowering continuously from summer into autumn, these compact plants create a spectacular display in containers, patios and conservatories. Their lush green foliage perfectly complements the richly coloured flowers, making them a popular choice for adding long-lasting seasonal colour.

Traditionally these are grown and kept as a gorgeous long flowering house plant, but they are also ideal for patio containers, window boxes and sheltered borders in the garden. This handy mix works beautifully alongside begonias and impatiens. Gloxinia plants require minimal maintenance, needing only regular watering and occasional feeding during the growing season to encourage repeat flowering. Plant in fertile, free-draining compost in a bright position with protection from strong midday sun. Remove spent blooms to keep plants looking fresh and flowering for longer.
