Hyacinths are an old favourite that are much loved for their big bright flowers and strong perfume. Perfect in the garden and patio planters or simply for seasonal home d̩cor - with these you don't need potpourri or air freshener as they'll fill the air with their unmistakable perfume. Position them in cheerful or contemporary styled pots on windowsills or side tables perhaps for maximum enjoyment. They can of course be planted directly in to the garden too, and will thrive to re-appear every season under trees or at the base of shrubs in a mixed border.

Hyacinths

Thank you so much Gardening Express, these are the ones I have been thinking about lately. Across the miles you got what I was thinking about. I love these all my family have had them over the years two years ago I gave some to a friend for Christmas she had never had any before but loved them. Where we used to live I put some by the gate in the border people used to go past and wonder what the perfume was they could smell. Nothing bad of course, it was from the Hyacinths.
I am so excited now that you have got some. i will send some to my friend Hazel in Leicester. Her garden is small so the 25 would be too many. she will have some of mine.
