Stunning Japanese Maples - Acers Collection of FOUR Plants

Product ref: DEAL12228A

Availability: Out of stock

We are offering this collection of 4 fantastic varieties of these highly sought Japanese Maples, each in approx 2-3 litre containers, lovely bushy plants at up to 60cms tall depending on variety and time of year.

This collection has been specially selected to give a variety of foliage colours, shapes and textures and will include one each in four different varieties such as the following:

Acer palmatum Going Green

Going Green is great for creating year-round interest. The main attraction of ‘Going Green’ is its stunning, intricate green leaves, opening lime green in the spring and maturing to a bright green over summer. These leaves will eventually turn striking shades of orange and red over the autumn before falling for winter.

Acer palmatum Beni Maiko

Acer ''Beni Maiko'' (syn. Deshojo) has spring colour that is burning scarlet to fire red, combined with a semi dwarf growth habit that lends itself well to growing in a large tub or planter.

Ideal for creating a Japanese theme anywhere in your garden. Great in pots or containers, or planted in the ground mixed with other shrubs and acers. The name 'Beni Maiko' means "Red Haired Dancing Girl".

Acer palmatum Orange Dream

This Orange Dream Japanese Maple will form a densely branched small tree with bright-green bark and a narrow upright habit. The foliage colour of Acer palmatum Orange Dream is best in partial shade, although full sun can be tolerated. It is ideal for creating a Japanese theme anywhere in your garden.

Great in pots or containers, or planted in the ground mixed with other shrubs and Acers.

Remember, the bark of Orange Dream can also offer a nice winter glow, so it offers more than just foliage value in the garden. Absolutely outstanding for autumnal colour.

Acer palmatum dissectum Emerald Lace

This stunning Japanese maple is well-loved for its filigree leaves which are as fine as lace. Green in summer, these turn rich shades of yellow-orange-red in autumn. The small tree typically looks particularly beautiful at the edge of a pond. Ideal for creating a Japanese theme anywhere in your garden. Great in pots or containers, or planted in the ground mixed with other shrubs or simply with other Acer varieties.

Remember, the bark of some Acer varieties has a nice winter glow, so they offer more than just foliage value in the garden. They are absolutely outstanding for autumnal colour. If you don't want a full collection yourself, why not share with friends? Perfect to keep on the patio in planters or plant around the garden and garden ponds. These plants give a wonderful effect in the garden what ever the season, and you can rest assured we will select you a fabulous mix of seasonal colours and textures.

The primary intended use of this plant is to grow food for human consumption.

There are thousands of different plant species that can be consumed, and our extensive range is no exception. We have conveniently listed a large number of edible plants here. Additionally, we have compiled several articles and handy recipes for some of the plants you are less likely to find in supermarkets.

We always recommend conducting your own research before consuming any plant to understand the various ways different varieties can be prepared and consumed. Be mindful of potential allergies when trying anything new and ensure it is suitable for all who may be consuming it.

Some plants or varieties can also be cultivated as animal feed for livestock, such as poultry, game, and livestock reared for consumption. Again, we advise doing your own research to select the most appropriate plants for your livestock.

Please note that this plant is sold with VAT charged at 0%. If you are a VAT-registered business, ensure this is properly included in your VAT return.

Please keep in mind that when we deliver these during the winter period plants will not have foliage as they are deciduous, and they may have been pruned back in line with good horticultural practices. This means they will grow in to lovely well branched strong plants once the Spring arrives. They are fully hardy and should be kept outside on arrival, and allowed to grow naturally with the seasons.
