Trachycarpus are one of the best palms for the UK, proving to be very tough, hardy and reliable even in the coldest British winters. They will form a single-stemmed evergreen palm with wonderful, fan-shaped, dark green leaves up to 75cm long.

Also known as the Windmill or Chusan palm, they will make an excellent specimen plant for sunny exotic garden or courtyard, and look particularly handsome in a decorative container. One of the most reliably hardy palms available, feed well and plant in a well drained position to enjoy a taste of the exotic all year round in your garden.

Chunky Large, 130-150cm specimen supplied as pictured in approx  10 litre containers with a nice trunk forming.

Beautiful Palm!

I had been searching for a good sized palm, for our newly furnished Mediterranean style garden for some time and this palm did not disappoint!
It arrived within 3 to 4 days of ordering, packaged well & looking very healthy. It’s just the perfect size at a very good price and looks fabulous in a large terracotta pot in the sun.

These Chusan Fan Palms from G.E. never disappoint.

I've bought 7 of these Trachycapus Fortunei (Fan) Palms over the last 10 months or so. All have arrived well packaged and undamaged. The value for money when compared with other online suppliers is amazing. All the fan palms I planted last summer/autumn survived the winter frosts up here in North Norfolk with Scandinavian icy winds blowing in off the North Sea. I have just ordered some more today (120cms @£49.99).

And no, I have no connection with Gardening Express at all, other than as a very satisfied customer.
