Sweetcorn Plant 'Snowbaby' is a unique and highly productive variety, specially bred to produce slender baby sweetcorn cobs that are harvested young for exceptional tenderness and sweetness. The vigorous plants produce abundant cobs approximately 8–12cm long, with light yellow kernels that are perfect for stir-fries, salads and steaming. Harvested at their immature stage, the entire cob can be eaten, providing a crisp texture and delicate flavour that is difficult to match from shop-bought produce. Its prolific nature and extended cropping period make 'Snobaby' an excellent choice for gardeners looking for something a little different.
Thriving in fertile, moisture-retentive but free-draining soil and a warm, sunny, sheltered location, 'Snobaby' is straightforward to grow and highly rewarding. Plant in blocks to ensure good pollination and maintain consistent watering throughout the growing season, particularly during hot weather. Regular feeding with a balanced fertiliser will encourage strong growth and a continual supply of cobs. Harvest baby sweetcorn while the silks are still fresh and before kernels begin to swell for the finest texture and flavour.
Supplied in approx. 1 litre containers. Each pot contains 5 plants approx ready to be split and planted in the garden.
