Glossy, bold, and bursting with flavour, Cherry Tree ‘Sunburst’ is a patio favourite, producing generous crops of large, glossy red cherries with irresistibly sweet, juicy flesh. These luscious fruits ripen in summer and are perfect for snacking, desserts, or preserving. In early spring, the tree is cloaked in waves of pure white flowers, attracting pollinators and adding seasonal beauty to any outdoor space.
With its upright, compact form and lush green foliage, ‘Sunburst’ is ideal for containers, sunny courtyards, or cottage-style gardens. It thrives in a sheltered, full sun position with moist but well-drained soil. Self-fertile and easy to grow, it requires only light annual pruning and regular watering during dry spells to ensure a healthy, productive tree. A low-maintenance delight, perfect for gardeners of all levels.
Supplied in approx. 12 litre containers grafted on a Gisela rootstock. This semi-dwarfing cherry variety produces smaller trees with an ultimate height of 3m. Trees are easily maintained at a manageable size. If planting multiples, plant in loamy, fertile soil around 2.7m apart.
