Cherry Tree - Sweetheart Patio (Gisela 5)
Availability: Out of stock
Sweet, crisp, and full of late-summer charm, Cherry Tree ‘Sweetheart Patio’ is a compact, self-fertile variety that produces an abundance of glossy, heart-shaped red cherries from mid to late August. The fruit is firm, juicy, and bursting with flavour, making it ideal for fresh eating, desserts, or jams. This tree is the perfect choice for extending your fruit harvest well into the season.
In spring, this charming tree is littered in clusters of white blossoms, attracting pollinators and adding a burst of beauty to patios, balconies, and small gardens. Its upright form is perfect for large containers or sunny, sheltered borders, thriving best in fertile, well-drained soil. With minimal pruning and regular watering during dry spells, ‘Sweetheart’ is easy to care for and a delightful addition to any garden.
Supplied in approx. 12 litre containers grafted on a Gisela rootstock. This semi-dwarfing cherry variety produces smaller trees with an ultimate height of 3m. Trees are easily maintained at a manageable size; if planting multiples, plant in loamy, fertile soil around 2.7m apart.
