Salix alba 'Tristis' - White Willow Tree
Availability: Out of stock
A truly elegant weeping tree, Salix alba 'Tristis', commonly known as the White Weeping Willow, is prized for its graceful, arching branches and bright golden-yellow stems. In early spring, it bursts into life with soft silvery catkins, followed by long, narrow green leaves that flutter in the breeze and create a romantic effect. As autumn arrives, the foliage turns a soft yellow, adding warm seasonal colour before the golden framework is revealed again for winter interest.
Â
Plant in a sunny position with moist, well-drained soil, ideally near water to enhance its natural beauty. Salix 'Tristis' is low-maintenance, requiring only light pruning in late winter or early spring to remove any dead or damaged branches and to maintain its sweeping shape.

Supplied in approx. 12 litre containers.
