Tomato 'Gargamel' is already bursting with promise, featuring deep purple stems and delicate, wispy foliage. This striking variety produces oval, red-striped fruits with purple-blue tones and a pleasantly rich flavour. It’s a visual showstopper with excellent functional benefits as the fruits store for over a month after ripening. Expect tall and decent yields from a plant that’s also resistant to fungal diseases.
Plant in a sunny, sheltered spot with support for its 1.8m vines. Keep well-watered and feed regularly to encourage flowering and fruit set.
