These large beefsteak tomatoes are mildly sweet, juicy, and low in acidity, perfect for slicing. Slightly flattened and beautifully marbled inside, this heritage variety is a garden favourite.
Bred to combine the beauty of golden tomatoes with the depth of traditional reds, ‘Ruby Gold’ has become a favourite for gardeners seeking both visual appeal and easy-eating flavour. Provide full sun, strong support, and consistent feeding to keep plants productive, and pinch out side shoots to maintain a cordon habit; allowing good airflow and selective fruit thinning will help develop these famously large fruits.
