Tomato Plant 'Vintage Wine'

Product ref: VEG28030

Availability: In stock

Tomato 'Vintage Wine' is a tall, mid-season variety originally bred in the USA. This plant produces flat, round fruits with stunning red skin brushed in yellow strokes. Each 150–250g tomato is dense, sweet, and low in seeds, perfect for fresh eating, juices, or sauces. It is best grown as a 2-stem plant and will thrive in greenhouses or warm, protected beds.

Bred to capture the charm and complexity of traditional heirloom tomatoes, ‘Vintage Wine’ stands out as much for its looks as its taste, making it a favourite among gardeners who appreciate both beauty and flavour. Provide full sun, sturdy support, and regular feeding to encourage strong growth and generous yields, and pinch out side shoots to train as a cordon; thinning fruits slightly will help develop larger, more evenly shaped tomatoes.

Supplied in approx. 9cm pots.
