Vitex 'Chicagoland Blues'

‘Chicagoland Blues’ is a unique variety of the Chase Tree with a more rounded form, compact growth, and drought tolerance making it the perfect small-medium shrub, ideal for smaller garden spaces or mixed border planting schemes. Its aromatic foliage is held on its upright and spreading stems and has a distinct slayed shape made up of 5-7 leaflets. The tall panicles of fragrant, lavender flowers bloom in autumn on black stems. It will fill your garden with a lovely scent and colour! 

A shrub originating from dry areas of North America it will thrive in full sun and is drought tolerant, able to grow in well-drained soil. It is able to grow in any soil type or pH but is not fully hardy so make sure to shelter it from cold winds.
