Weigela florida Moulin Rouge

A strong reliable shrub is always a welcome addition to our garden, especially for busy people, who’s time is short. The Weigela is the perfect candidate for this scenario and this variety brings many qualities.

A medium sized shrub, it has variegated leaves that are mid-green with a deep yellow margin. In late spring clusters of bright pinkie-red trumpet shaped flowers appear and are generously spread over the plant, these will continue to appear well into the summer.

A good shrub for a difficult spot as it tolerates all soils and aspects. Great border filler that will happily take a hard pruning if required. Weigela will enjoy a good thick mulch in early spring.
