Chaenomeles x superba Red Joy - Flowering Quince

‘Red Joy’ is a beautiful, compact variety of Chaenomeles with glossy green leaves on spiny branches. In the spring this plant will treat you to displays of gorgeous, red, cup-shaped flowers. The blooms are followed by yellow-green fruit that lasts until the winter; the fruit both looks and smells incredible. The plant grows up to a metre tall and wide making it ideal for smaller outdoor spaces or to be mixed in with plants of other sizes in beds and borders.

Grow this plant in any type of moist, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade.

Supplied in approx. 2-3 litre containers.
