Wow! These plants are monsters, and can be expected to throw out up to 30 strong flower heads during their first flowering season in your garden, providing great value for a specimen of this size and age. These white blooms, up to the size of a football when fully established, cover the plant all summer before fading to an attractive burgundy shade. Cut to near ground level over winter each year, and they will then throw up masses of strong new stems and big blooms each summer.

With a tidy, bushy form reaching around 0.5 metres tall and wide, it’s a perfect Hydrangea for small gardens, foundation plantings, or patio pots. 'Magical Pearl' prefers partial shade, though it can tolerate morning sun, and thrives in rich, moist, well-drained soil. Its flower color is less pH-dependent than other varieties, maintaining its soft tones across soil types. This plant can be used as cut or dried flowers too.
