'Albert's Gold' is a special form of Erica, a type of Heather, that carries bright golden soft evergreen foliage on upright bristly looking stems. These are carried all year round, then in spring as an added bonus fragrant white flowers appear. Perfect for growing in planters where it combines well with other heather varieties and evergreen plants, it will also do well in the open garden. Ideally, Erica arborea 'Albert's Gold' grows best in well-drained, fertile soil in a sheltered, sunny spot, it will look it's best if given a light trim of the foliage in late Spring. This variety is sometimes referred to as a Tree Heather or tree heath due to it's upright growing nature, but fear not, it will not grow in to a gigantic garden tree! Supplied in approx 10.5cm pots.
