Hydrangea anomala petiolaris Bright Side

The attractive climbing hydrangea Hydrangea anomala subsp. petiolaris 'Bright Side' is well-known for its eye-catching variegated leaves and enormous, lacecap white blooms. Even when the plant is not in flower, the creamy yellow rim of the leaves adds a dazzling contrast to the dark green centre, creating yet another layer of visual intrigue.

A beautiful feature, the blossoms appear from early to midsummer and cover the vine in a profusion of white that can brighten a dark spot in the garden. This climbing hydrangea is a great option for covering walls, fences, or trellises in regions that are partially or completely shaded because it usually attaches itself to surfaces by aerial rootlets.
