The Swiss cheese plant is fairly easy to care for and maintain, but will need extra space to grow, it will add a beautiful tropical touch where ever you choose to locate it. The primary intended use of this plant is to grow food for human consumption.

There are thousands of different plant species that can be consumed, and our extensive range is no exception. We have conveniently listed a large number of edible plants here. Additionally, we have compiled several articles and handy recipes for some of the plants you are less likely to find in supermarkets.

We always recommend conducting your own research before consuming any plant to understand the various ways different varieties can be prepared and consumed. Be mindful of potential allergies when trying anything new and ensure it is suitable for all who may be consuming it.

Some plants or varieties can also be cultivated as animal feed for livestock, such as poultry, game, and livestock reared for consumption. Again, we advise doing your own research to select the most appropriate plants for your livestock.

Please note that this plant is sold with VAT charged at 0%. If you are a VAT-registered business, ensure this is properly included in your VAT return.

A lot of people get this special variety confused with the similar Monstera 'albo variegata'. Our grower carefully propagates vegetively to ensure plants are true to type. To avoid scorch of the soft variegated foliage when conditions are bright and sunny in the greenhouse, they are grown in partly shaded conditions, therefore please do not be alarmed on delivery, as this will result in less variegation being immediately present. If you therefore place your plant in a brighter spot, but avoid direct hot sunshine, a lot more variegation will appear on this most prestigious of houseplants. Of the two variegated Monstera forms available, Thai Constellation has large more irregular paint-like splodges on the leaves, sometimes with half or wholly shaded leaves which look truly amazing. The albo variegata form, is a more typical plant with various degrees of variegation and seemingly smaller leaves in our experience than the Thai. Don't be confused due to the cultural techniques used in producing Thai Constellation that you have the wrong plant on arrival - you can look forward to a rare and unequivocally unique variegated Monstera that will be the Jewel in the Crown of any house plant collection as it grows.
