This eye-catching tree thrives in full sun, and prefers moist, well-drained soils, including clay, loam, and chalk. It’s ideal for modern landscapes, large borders, or as a bold specimen in open gardens. Minimal pruning is needed; simply remove any damaged branches in winter. 'Princeton Gold' pairs beautifully with deep burgundy shrubs, evergreen hedging, or blue-toned perennials like salvia or nepeta for a striking contrast.Â
